這次德州跆拳道在達拉斯北部小鎮FRISCO舉行，
MATTHEW參加拳式長鎗及對打，
八---九歲五十磅以下紅帶組，
他今年已滿九歲年齡略占優勢，
比賽結果，
拳式得第一名。
武器耍長鎗得第二名。
重頭戲對打對手黑帶，
以五比零獲勝挑戰成功真難能可貴。
現在加強訓練中，
積極準備將，
參加五月在達拉斯舉行的，
美南地區錦標賽以便獲得參加，
七月在佛州奧蘭德舉行的，
全美錦標賽。
Matthew competed at the Texas State Championship on March 13th in Frisco Texas.
He was in the 8-9 year old, red belt, light weight division.
He finished first in Forms, second in Weapons, and 1st in Sparring by
beating a black belt.
He will compete in the Regionals in Dallas in May and has qualified to
compete in the Nationals in Orlando in June.
